Did river rafting with Himalaya Expedition | River Rafting in Rishikesh, and the experience was solid from start to finish.
Location is a big plus—easy to find near Auto Stand, Ram Jhula, inside car parking, close to Chotiwala Restaurant by the Ganges at Muni Ki Reti. No unnecessary wandering or confusion.
Safety was handled properly: good-quality helmets, life jackets, and clear instructions before getting into the river. The guides were experienced, calm, and knew exactly how to handle the raft—even during strong rapids.
The rafting stretch was thrilling but controlled, perfect for both first-timers and people who want real adrenaline. Cold, clean Ganga water, great scenery, and well-timed breaks. Cliff jumping and swimming were optional and well supervised.
Team coordination was excellent, and they made sure everyone enjoyed the experience without pushing anyone beyond their comfort level.

I've visited rishikesh for the first time with my sister and it was an amazing experience all thanx to Mr. Praveen , we rented our scooty from him and he guided us through the city,he is very friendly and made us feel safe throughout the trip. We went for the maximum.. 24 kms stretch..  Aman our coach was very professional, informative, funny & a fantastic rafter. We had a wonderful time on d raft and in d Rapids. He encouraged us to get in d water and really enjoy d experience. He succeeded!! I recommend him highly!!

The strong extreme current & turbulence in d water makes it very thrilling. The main goal of this sport is to maneuver & navigate d raft through rapids & turbulent waters, often times taking you over rocks & drops, without capsizing the raft.

Overall a gr8 experience..  Worth Doing, whenever u visit Rishikesh..

The photos and videos taken in GoPro was corrupted. But they recovered it and sent after a few days. Props to them for following up and our rafting guide was very good!

I tried Bungee jumping and River rafting first time with Himalaya Expedition and they make my experience more exciting and memorable. Ram Patel guide us so well with affortable package and there servises are really good, he guide us to explore rishikesh and he has very helpfull nature towords us.. Amit sir our (rafting instructor) is also humble person, we enjoyed rafting in his guidence.

I wanted to do something exciting on my Rishikesh trip, so I booked a river rafting session with Himalaya Expedition. Since I was traveling with friends, we chose the 16 km route, which seemed ideal for beginners while still offering some thrill.

The team was well-organized and provided all the necessary safety gear. The briefing before starting was helpful, especially for those of us who had never done rafting before. The first few rapids were mild, but later ones had strong waves that gave us a real rush. We laughed, screamed, and got completely drenched along the way. The best part was when our guide let us jump into the river and float for a while such a peaceful moment after all the excitement.

After rafting, we changed into dry clothes and grabbed some hot tea. It was a great experience overall adventurous but not too extreme. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something fun to do in Rishikesh, whether you’re an adrenaline junkie or just want to try something new.

i went to rishikesh with my friends and we book river rafting with himalaya expedition of 16km ride (shivpuri to ram jhula)but the guide ended the ride at neem beach
then we told him to end the ride at ram jhula and he dinied
then we argue with him and then he started to fight with us and tring to hit us with his (chappu) and he bring his friends with him and thay all try to kill us with there (chappu) thay trying to hit our head
then one boy bring big stone and try to throw on us
it was such a big stone if it hits us then maybe anyone die with that stone
then he hit me on my legs and broak my mobile (s23 ultra)
at the end we are able to run from them
thay leave us on the road alone then we walk to the parking with our self
then we went to the near police station and thay told us to compromise with them. then we understand that yaha kuch nahi hone wala. and we walk away
himalaya expedition is very dangerous not to book any kind of rides with them
